Roger McGuinn and The Byrds: Eight Miles High - Historic Home Movie Rediscovered

The Byrds album coverImage via WikipediaHi all,

I just found this fascinating video about The Byrds. It's a lost reel of Roger McGuinn's home movies from the Byrds' London trip in 1967. McGuinn explains the reel at the beginning. Pretty intense footage! Here's the URL:

What's the video about? In 1965, The Byrds' Gene Clark, Roger McGuinn, and David Crosby wrote the song Eight Miles High about their plane trip to England. Two years later, the group returned to London and McGuinn took along his home movie camera. Editing inside the camera, McGuinn created a one-take short film that Paul McCartney called "brilliant." In this Growing Bolder exclusive, McGuinn tells the story of this historic film - and then shows it!

Fantastic stuff, enjoy!
