Here is a CBS TV documentary about the Grateful Dead and the growing hippie scene in Haight Ashbury, San Francisco from 1967. In some ways, it tells the story of the hippie movement at the time. In other ways, the conservative questions and the lack of understanding is both hilarious and sad at the same time.
