1960s Culture, Acid and Music

Here's a few documentaries from the 1960s on acid, music and 1960s culture.

The first one features a range of documentary cuts on the psychedelic 60s featuring The Byrds, Ken Kesey, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles, Ravi Shankar, John Peel, Pink Floyd, and others ... Too much! Fascinating.

The second video is an interview with Ken Kesey and Jerry Carcia, interviewed by Tom Snyder. Later, in a clip looking back from an historical retrospective many years later, Kesey describes how LSD enabled him to write such works as the classic "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

The final video here is a 1970 audio interview with John Lennon for Rolling Stone magazine where John describes his first acid trip. Fascinating stuff.

Enjoy!
